Jimmie Johnson driving the PWR Performance Products cooled Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsport continued his mastery of the “Monster Mile” at the Dover International Speedway, winning for the ninth time in 25 attempts.

With its 24 degree banking in the turns and nine degree banking on the straightaways, the Monster Mile usually lives up to its name but Johnson had the track mastered.

Qualifying fourth, Johnson, the six time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion charged to the front 82 laps into the race and wasn’t to be denied as he circled his way to victory lane. His margin of victory was a mere .885 seconds due to a restart with four laps to go. He scored back to back victories, having won a week ago at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Second place went to hard charging Brad Ke-selowski who started the race on pole position driving the Ford Fusion for Team Penske with Matt Kenseth third in a Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry.

The top 25 cars all used PWR Performance Products.
