Kyle Larson was the class of the field leading 118 of 200 laps to take the win at Homestead. Larson’s PWR Performance Products cooled Chevrolet was so strong that by lap 97 only three cars were chasing him on the lead lap and he had opened a 6.7 second lead over early race leader Kyle Busch who led 62 of the first 79 laps.
Chris Buescher ran a trouble free race, finishing 11th to claim his first NASCAR XFINITY Series title. Buescher, driving the PWR Performance Products cooled Roush Fenway Ford came into the race needing to finish 13th or better to guarantee himself the championship. He played it safe to win the championship.
