Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas has won the Grand-Am Rolex Daytona Prototype (DP) race at the Road Atlanta road course driving the PWR cooled BMW/Riley for Chip Ganassi Racing.

The pair combined to lead 94 of the 120 laps on the 2.54 mile circuit and was the dominant car on the track winning the race with a margin of 17.781 seconds.

Rojas started on pole position and drove away from the field at the drop of the green flag and he and Pruett were only out of the lead during pitstops. They were so dominant that their quickest race lap was more than a half a second faster than the next best lap, a remarkable differential in a series that typically features very close racing.

It was their second victory of the season with the pair opening the season by winning the Rolex 24 hour at Daytona.

They have extended their points lead in their quest for a fourth consecutive Grand-AM Daytona Prototype championship.
