Three races over the weekend with three different winners with all
cars on the grid using PWR Performance Products in the British
Touring Car Championship (BTCC) held at Donington Park.
Race 1 had a 1-2 finish to the strong MG team with Jason Plato
taking a lights to chequered flag victory with his team mate Sam
Tordoff finishing in second place. Andrew Jordan in the Honda
Civic finished the podium in third position.
Race 2 saw another 1-2 finish for the MG team but it was Sam
Tordoff taking the win for his second ever BTCC victory. Jason
Plato followed in second place with Gordon Shedden driving the
Honda Civic taking the final spot on the podium.
Race 3 was a great race with Gordon Shedden in the Honda Civic taking the win by overtaking the BMW of
Colin Turkington on the last corner. The pair drove side by side on a number of occasions and both went on
the brakes too late on the last corner with both driving off the track with Sheddon returning on the circuit first to
take the chequered flag.
